When  you hire A-Pro Pool & Spa to close your pool, we do the following:

1.  Remove all returns and replace with plugs and/or gizmos.
2. Disconnect all external equipment after inspection.
3. Run antifreeze through any needed lines.
4. Add closing chemicals.
5. Check filters to make sure they are in working order.
6. Install cover, if needed

Here's a few things you can do to be prepared for our pool closing:

For Above-Ground Pool Owners:

1.     Drain your pool to 1” below the lowest port (opening).

2.     Have gizmos and plugs out.

3.     If we are installing your cover, please have that out as well.

a.     For us to install your cover it will be an additional charge of:

i.     Mesh = $60

ii.     Tarp = $90

b.     If you install your cover before we close your pool, it will be an additional $30

4.     If you would like us to clean your filter, please let us know.

a.     An additional $145 will be charged

For In-Ground Pool Owners:

1.     Have gizmos and plugs out for us.

2.     If you have an Auto Cover, do NOT drain your pool. 

a.    The cover needs the water to support it, so the cover doesn’t stress over the winter.

3.     If you have any other cover, please drain your pool to 1” below the lowest port (opening).

a.     Do you have a low-port drain?

i.     If so, do you have a bungee plug?

ii.     If not, we ask that you purchase one for each low-port drain

iii.     Ours are $15.95 each

4.     If we are installing your cover, please have that out as well.

a.     For us to install your cover it will be an additional:

i.     Mesh = $60

ii.     Tarp = $90

b.     If you install your cover before we close your pool, it will be an additional $50

If the water level in your pool is not correct the day of your scheduled closing,

there will be an additional trip fee to come back out.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns about your pool prior to closing.
